The new JVC GC-XA1 ADIXXION action camcorder |
---
JVC has entered the GoPro like action camera market with their brand new JVC GC-XA1 ADIXXION camcorder and they've added some cool features to this small but rugged camera.
The ADIXXION has a water / shock / dust / freeze-proof design which JVC likes to call "QUAD Proof" and is able to record full HD 1080/30p or 720/60p videos and capture 5MP stills. It has a CMOS sensor which provides great image quality in a wide range of lighting conditions. You can mount the camera to goggles with the provided goggle mount or to a helmet, surfboard or to the roof of your car with the supplied flexible mount. The camera has a built-in ultra wide 170° lens that makes it possible to capture any action in front of it. What's really nice about this camera is the built-in 1.5-inch LCD monitor on the side of the camera, for easy checking of recorded footage in the field. Something you can't do with the GoPro.
