I've been very interested in the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera from the first moment it was announced at NAB earlier this year. Like everyone else, I was afraid that this little camera, just like the newly announced Blackmagic 4K Cinema Camera, would be on back order for a long time, since customer deliveries of Blackmagic's first camera (the EF mount version) started about 6 months after pre-declared shipping dates due to production issues. That's why many filmmakers have been very anxious to find out wether or not this little Pocket camera would be shipping in time.
Well, today I'm very happy to be able to share some good news with you all. I came across this tweet of B&H Photo Video:

It also showed someone of B&H actually holding the Pocket Cinema Camera in their hands and they even gave us an expected shipping date: 7/25. So it really seems like delivery will start somewhere at the end of this month. Thus, if you haven't pre-ordered your Pocket Cinema Camera yet, now would be a good time to do this!
